This business-focused university located just outside of Boston in Waltham, MA, is ideal for students who want to balance a business curriculum with liberal arts. Bentley’s proximity to Boston allows students the opportunity to intern at a variety of companies and has one of the highest rates of student internships of any university. There are approximately 4000 undergraduates at Bentley, with average class sizes of 25 and all courses capped at 35. All courses are taught by faculty. While liberal arts courses are required, a foundation in business is a given for all students.

This career-focused university boasts a 98% placement rate in a corporate setting. Average salaries are high, and all students are required to take a Career Development 101 course. At the end of freshman year, students must develop a resume, practice interviewing, and apply for internships. Merit aid is offered to many students, along with need-based aid.

Bentley offers many varsity sports. All are Division III, with the exception of hockey, which participates in Division I. Athletes are encouraged to complete the online recruiting questionnaire and contact coaches.
